Paula Barcante is a design leader and ethicist, currently living in Vancouver Island. She graduated with honors from the University of Waterloo, with a Bachelors in Global Business and Digital Arts.
Paula is interested in design theory, ethics and education, and has contributed through talks, awards, and publications. She believes design has the power to change our relationship with technology.
In the last 7 years, she has designed across many disciples, including product, interaction, brand identity, design systems, motion, advertising, and illustration. She has worked for companies like Amazon, Twitter, Zillow, and others. She also founded Joyster App.
Right now, she is a Product Design Lead at Dropbox.
